Arrowhead Device. A bronze embroidered arrowhead is placed 3/4 inch before the inscription on the streamer to indicate the unit made a parachute jump into enemy territory; participated in an amphibious landing on enemy territory; or made a helicopter assault landing in enemy held territory as part of an organized force carrying out an assigned tactical mission. The unit's lineage and honors will indicate "with arrowhead" if applicable.
** The devices are embroidered on the streamers of organizations when specified in the lineage and honors. Devices are not placed on streamers displayed on the Army flag.
